Mary Butler is an author, storyteller, and creative publisher from Northwest Georgia with a love for cozy mysteries, horror, fantasy, paranormal stories, speculative fiction, and practical nonfiction rooted in real-life experience. Her work often blends heart, humor, mystery, folklore, animals, small-town atmosphere, and just enough mayhem to keep things interesting.
She is the author of The Herbal Henhouse: Nurturing Your Chickens With Nature's Remedies and is currently developing multiple fiction projects, including cozy mysteries, horror stories, fantasy worlds, and genre-blending anthologies. Whether she is writing about magical chickens, haunted backroads, complicated women, strange towns, or things that go bump in the dark, Mary is drawn to stories with personality, atmosphere, and a little bite.
Mary is also the founder of Reid & Bloom Publishing, an independent imprint currently being built as a home for bold, imaginative storytelling, multi-author anthologies, and creative projects that don't fit neatly into one box. Through Reid & Bloom, she is creating opportunities for writers to collaborate, publish, and build community while keeping their individual voices intact.
She recently launched the Reid & Bloom Writers Circle, a Facebook writers club for authors, storytellers, and anthology contributors who want encouragement, connection, and a little creative fire under their feet.
