I adjust my skirt for the third time, pulling it a little higher towards my waist. I'm not happy at all, plus if the wind blows, I'll struggle to keep it against my thighs. By the time I stepped outside, the leaves were on fire. Everything was covered in ashes, smoke and threatening flames which were getting closer and closer to our city at a colossal speed.
