Hey y’all, I’m Lesel. I write short fiction that moves fast and hits hard. My stories zero in on small, combustible moments—an overheard lie, a door left open, a single choice that fractures a life—and I try to render those moments with clarity, surprise, and a little teeth.
I’ve been writing and submitting for years, learning how to tighten a scene until it sings and how to leave an ending that stays with you. Contests are where I measure my work against real readers and real stakes; I enter because I want my stories to be tested, noticed, and placed where they can matter.
I don’t write to flatter or to be comfortable. I write to unsettle, to make strangers care about strangers for a few pages, and to earn the kind of attention that keeps editors and readers watching. If this story grabs you, read it, vote for it, and share it—your vote helps it find the audience I wrote it for. Thanks For reading! :)
