That's the thing about this city, it has an invisible draw that always seems to pull me back. No matter how many times I try to escape and start anew somewhere else I always end up back here, and this time it might keep me. I grumble angrily at my car as I kick a tire. "Freakin' car! I blinked as something flashed in the bright morning light. I raised my hand to shade my eyes as I saw something spark and glitter as it fell behind a snow bank with just one small shiny end sticking out from behind the snow. I frowned, my forehead wrinkling and walked through the wet exposed grass where the snow had melted in the bright spring sun, to examine the strange object.
