Cold wind gushed in as the train door opened. She shivered, tightening the scarf around her. People rushed in. This station always was the most crowded. She always counted it as her blessing that she got on the train a stop before. Or else she would have been the one struggling for the seats. Little things, she smiled at herself. She sat on the same seat for………….as long as she could remember. Looking through windows always made the time pass quicker. A whiff of aroma hit her. She closed her eyes as she took in the fresh morning coffee....

Author's note- This is a story about a new beginning, leaving behind resentment, loneliness and fear of losing someone. I stood there silently as a young couple passed me.They stopped. The girl pulled the boy back, standing right in front of me. She said something to him. The boy just smiled and pulled out a coin from his pocket handing it to her.
