After reading The World According to Garp, Jörgen knew he wanted to be a writer someday. Someday came almost four decades later, when life’s circumstances forced him to reconsider what truly mattered and what goals remained to be achieved. So, after a long career in clinical laboratories, he decided to shift his focus a bit and make time to write. To put on paper the story that’s waited a lifetime to be written, with the bonus of lived-in experience. His stories focus on ordinary queer men navigating life just like everyone else. Other than writing, Jörgen loves cooking and gardening, attempts to play rugby and is a devoted cactus daddy. He lives together with his husband in Gouda, the Netherlands.
