Publishing under the name J Spencer; I've spent decades working outdoors as a wildland firefighter, forest manager, farm hand, and structural firefighter, I finally found the motivation to write my first book. Although inspired by Craig Alanson, this dream has persisted since my teenage years when I could found reading Louis L’Amour and John McDonald novels. My journey as an author has become a doorway into a world I only scratched the surface of as an avid reader. Thank you for being a part of this journey!
