My daughter calls most mornings on her way to work. We moved to Florida several years ago; our kids stayed in Maine. We like to check in on each other. We’re not old-old. I’m not on Medicare though my husband passed that milestone two years ago. But we got tired of worrying over unanswered calls and developed a routine.
