Dear Riley, I miss you. Still. It’s coming up on six months now, but it hasn’t gotten any easier, despite what all our well-meaning friends have said. You’re still gone and I’m still here and it still hurts. But I’m trying, I guess. I realize now that you had been giving away a lot of your things in the months leading up to… Is it bad that I don’t want to call it ‘the end’ or anything else that sounds so final?
