When Paul and his wife Daisy went to bed in the evening there had been a blizzard outside and they hadn't thought much of it. Blizzards where a regular thing in Canada in the winter. Paul and Daisy lived alone in a small cabin in a valley surrounded by mountains. Their three children had all gone to have a family of their own and some of their grandchildren too and Paul and Daisy saw them a few times a year. They had home visits from licensed practical nurse three times a week to help them with various tasks such as bathing and bringing them...
