I close my eyes…… and then I open them. My breath catches in the air like a moment completely, irrevocably frozen in time. Like this one.I run my hand across the fire-red rail, watching the frozen scene before me. Townspeople gather singing carols, their cheeks rosy from the cold. A little girl in a blue dress holds onto her mother’s skirt.
