H.E. Ross is a Black San Franciscan who has been sailing for over 59 years and writing for about 30+ of those years. He lived and worked in Mexico and the Caribbean for most of that time. He has either created or assisted the creation of three maritime heritage organisations with an emphasis on African Diasporia contributions to the skills involved under sail. Ross has written for publications and has published two magazines, one maritime heritage book and self-published sailing adventure novel, Odyssey Tale of a noble voyage. He is presently sitting on several unpublished novels, short stories and quite a bit of poetry. H.E. Ross, his partner and their two children and two cats live in a riverside village in Cornwall, England.
