Today, much like every other day the alarm went off startling me awake. I rubbed my head and sat up, I got up and started walking towards the bathroom when my phone chimed with a new notification. Upon looking at the screen I saw a message from the family business. I didn't want to take it over because I knew the life long commitment and struggle of keeping it going wasn't worth it. It wasn't worth the emotional stress and the nightly visits to the office. Or falling asleep at the desk because the work wasn't done. I chose to ignore it....

It was just last week, after 4 years of trying to finish this story. It was my first story I had ever written and I wanted it to be a first class seller.
