As the founder of The Rat Dog Dick Detective Agency in San Francisco, Fay Faron’s adventures have been chronicled in Vanity Fair, People, USA Today and Edgar award-winning Jack Olsen’s true crime, Hastened to the Grave. Her King Features-syndicated column, Ask Rat Dog, ran nationwide for a decade, and she’s appeared on Larry King, Oprah, 20/20 and Good Morning America. Now retired and living in New Orleans, in 2016, the city council named Faron “Ferrygodmother of New Orleans” for saving the Canal St. Ferry after Hurricane Katrina.
