Faith Noel is an indie author from the mountains of North Carolina with a B.A. in Theatre Arts and Creative Writing. In 2023, she received her university's Professional Writing Award. She is the author of "Lydia" and "Still, Lydia," historical fiction novels set in the town she was raised in. She takes interest in the culturally rich history of Appalachia and writes from the perspective of deeply flawed, unapologetically human characters. When she isn't writing novels, she can be found teaching at a local middle school (pray for her), exploring small towns, thrifting, and playing guitar.
