I taught high school and college mathematics for 10 years then entered the corporate world and have flipped between IT and Finance during my time there. I wrote a few praise songs and a few mystery novels in the early 2000s and enjoyed a few mystery writers conferences, but eventually, life got busy, and I grew a family for a time. Now, with foster kids out of the house and a grandchild around, I am getting back into writing because, ultimately, I just like it. I would like to improve my craft, and being on Reedsy helps me to see all the wonderful writing that people can do; it keeps me humble and grateful that maybe, in a small way, I can contribute.
