This is horrific. The inmates started banging on the bars of their cells. They always do this whenever the lights go out. They’re terrified because of the things they can’t see that happen during the dark. This is the only thing you can do when you're locked up in a small cell isolated from the world, to up your chance of survival from who knows what will happen to you in the dark.
