"Okay. So. Uh … The story I've written is about this guy, Gonzo, but that's not his real name, and he's in prison, like, Ocala Pen or whatever, somewhere in BC. I'll get that all sorted out before I finish it. And he's like, a gangster type, you know? And in the gangs, they have this thing, they call it de-boarding, where anyone who gets out of line or is in debt to the gangs gets a beating, and like, I don't know why they call it that, but they do, and they have like a trial sort of thi...

I have to leave in 15 minutes. Can't this wait?" "No, it can't wait. What the hell is sitting behind the recliner?" "Behind the recliner?!" She came down the stairs quickly. Sandy did everything quickly. That was her thing. Today was the only the third day this spring that...

It's an interesting view. Not that it can last, but still, one has to appreciate the world as it comes, not as we might wish it might be. Clearly, I can see sweet Genevieve, a bruise on her beautiful forehead, the centre of this whole mess. Next to her is Bishop Grandin, the sadistic bastard. The two of them holding hands. What has it been? Two, maybe three days since this all started? It was only yesterday that the Bishop and I had our little meeting. Genevieve wa...
