I was born in rural Ohio. My education included some college at Kent State University. After dodging that bullet, (Yes, I am that old) I quit school and then was promptly drafted. I ended up in the Marines, which was quite a rude awakening. Three years later and honorably discharged, I decided it was time to settle down and find a wife.
I found her in Alaska and settled there. Eighteen years and four kids later, we moved to an island a bit north of Seattle. The weather there was much more to my liking than it was in Alaska, or even in Ohio.
