The giant, tangled roots of the willow tree stood as firm as I had remembered it. The makeshift steps haphazardly nailed against the strong, unweathered bark. Gone are the days of 7am rises. I have long forgotten the jarring sirens reminding me that in order to make my parents proud I have to get up and begin the treacherous commute to my 9-5.
