3:00 am and I am still wide awake. The cabin is shrouded in the type of silence you expect from a cemetery, in the dead of night. The fireplace is alive with warmth and it keeps me feeling comfortable and safe...although I am in the middle of the woods, miles away from the nearest town or even the closest neighbor.
