I have no idea how long I've been here, but it feels as though years have passed. I don't sleep. I don't eat. She's back. She followed me here, to this cheap hotel in San Diego. I knew, when I saw the view outside my second floor window of the dirty, puddle-strewn rooftop below, she'd be there.
