Brazilian-born Swedish citizen Camilla brings a rich multicultural perspective to her historical fiction, shaped by years spent living across Asia and Americas. Her writing journey began in childhood and evolved alongside her global life, which took her from Singapore to Hong Kong and eventually to Texas, where she spent several decades before currently residing in Portugal. While building her family and career, she honed her storytelling skills through screenwriting, completing several scripts, including “The Secret Disease” and “The King’s Obsessions,” a three-part movie series that served as the foundation for her novel “The Unnamed Kingdom.”
