The cafeteria was a roaring sea of pinks and reds. Heart-shaped boxes exchanged hands all over the bustling room. Candy and chocolates, tiny cards, squeals, and laughter; it was expected, but very nearly unbearable for the many students left empty-handed. Aubrey was one of these students.
