Dorothy scrambled to get the rest of her things. Keys—check. Purse—check. Shoes—check. Phone… Where was her phone? She tossed the throw pillows off the couch and ran to the bed to do the same. She checked the common places: bathroom counter, entryway table, charging stand in the corner of the kitchen. No luck.
