Many years ago, in the farmlands of Iceland, there lived a grandmother and her beautiful granddaughter, Frayja. Every day from dawn to dusk, Freyja worked cheerfully in the vast fields, sowing and harvesting rye. She always saved a handful for the chirruping birds, who became her dear friends.
