I'm Carmel Ben Shoshan, an Israeli writer, oil painter and illustrator. I write short fiction where fantasy meets history and memory, and I'm currently working on a YA fantasy novel, an adult urban-fantasy romance, and "Our Promise," a manga set during the Holocaust. My ongoing flash-fiction series, The Soldier and the Wolf, follows Adam and Esh one small story at a time. I'm also the author and illustrator of the children's book "The Journey of Anani." By day I teach reading and art to young students with special needs; by night I write, paint, and draw the worlds I can't stop thinking about.
