Chloe Moffett

Chloe Moffett – Editor

A versatile book editor with over 10 years of experience, specializing in literary fiction, sci fi/fantasy, and mental health nonfiction.

Overview

Throughout my career I've worked on almost every genre, from science textbooks to thrillers to literary fiction and cultural criticism. I have extensive experience in developmental editing, line editing, copyediting, and proofreading, so I understand the entire life of a book and how to tailor my approach to the stage of writing.

No matter the genre, I love helping authors connect with their audience and making sure that their vision comes across in all its glory. At the beginning of a project, I always seek to understand exactly what an author is trying to accomplish so I can help them achieve their goals. Every book is different, and so is my editing approach.

I believe that how we write about the world and the words we choose are hugely important, and I can also offer sensitivity edits to make sure that your writing is respectful to all.

Chloe was a great communicator and editor. She took the time to understand what my vision was and help me achieve it. I received a developmental edit with lots of good ideas for how to improve my manuscript. Chloe is very friendly, flexible, and cooperative.
