Overview

Hello! I am an artist working in games and publishing in the Seattle area of the rainy Pacific Northwest USA. Currently, I work in-house at Wizards of the Coast, on the Magic: The Gathering trading card game and occasionally the Dungeons and Dragons books. In the past I worked for a small startup publisher called Boneshaker Press, writing, illustrating, editing, and designing for the publisher's fantasy art anthologies.

My illustration work focuses on characters wandering through a magic-filled nature - I'm fascinated by that feeling of something moving just out of sight while you're walking through a forest, and often I seek to recreate that feeling in my paintings.

My skillset includes:
+ Illustration - planning, drawing, painting
+ Storyboarding
+ Visual development and character design
+ Pre-press file preparation
+ Giving/receiving constructive feedback
+ Graphic design and typography
+ Editing and writing
+ Open mind and love of learning
+ Passion for publishing and entertainment

If you are interested in working together, feel free to drop me a line. I would love to chat about your project!
