Tim Major has 15 years of publishing experience in senior editorial roles, having commissioned and edited content for Scholastic, Pearson, CGP and Oxford University Press, and acting as co-editor of the British Fantasy Society’s fiction journal. As a freelance editor he specializes in science fiction, horror, mysteries, and YA fiction.
His own books include Jekyll & Hyde: Consulting Detectives, Snakeskins, Hope Island, three Sherlock Holmes novels and two collections. Tim’s short stories have been selected for Best of British Science Fiction, Best of British Fantasy and The Best Horror of the Year, and his short story “The Brazen Head of Westinghouse” won the British Fantasy Award for Best Short Fiction in 2024.
