Overview
As a freelance editor who’s worked with several USA Today Bestselling authors, I’m here to help develop your art so you can enter the publication world confident in yourself and the work you’ve created. I graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in English and a Concentration in Creative Writing. There, I worked with professionals and peers editing their works while also educating myself about the publishing world. I have years of experience working in libraries, both public and academic, so I can use that "behind the scenes" lens that will help you get your book on display.
I specialize in developmental editing, immersing your audience and finding space for details while still elevating the tension that keeps your readers hooked. Have you ever started writing a setting where you can see everything in your head, but you're struggling to get it down on paper? Don't throw your computer. I'll assist you with line edits that help your audience not only see the scene, but taste, touch, and smell it too. Together, we will give your plot and characters that extra push to create something deep and meaningful that pulls your readers in and holds them on the edge of their seats until the end. What's important to me while we work together on your manuscript is keeping your unique voice and message at the forefront. This is your art, I want to help you get it out of your head and into the world.
