Annie Tucker

Annie Tucker – Ghostwriter

I am a seasoned ghostwriter who has helped hundreds of experienced and first-time authors alike bring their best ideas to life on the page.

Overview

I believe everyone has a story to tell, and I have devoted my 25-year career to helping my clients use their voices and transform their stories into compelling, published books.

My favorite part of being a ghostwriter is seeing my collaborations with clients blossom into deep, trusting relationships in which together we build a narrative from the ground up and end up with a complete manuscript that exceeds expectations. The process is creative, enriching, confidential, and, most of all, fun.

Although nondisclosure agreements prevent me from disclosing specific names or titles, I have worked with a wide variety of clients on nonfiction projects, including the following:

CEOs and entrepreneurs

Architects and designers

Health-and-wellness experts

Advertising and marketing executives

Private equity and venture capital firms

Visual artists

MDs and psychologists

Motivational speakers

Memoirists

I have written and edited more than seven hundred books, which have been published by the Big Five, by prestigious academic presses, and by established independent presses. They have received favorable reviews from the New York Times, Kirkus Reviews, Foreword Reviews, Publishers Weekly, and many other outlets. Among them, numerous titles have become New York Times best sellers and have won literary awards.

The goal of a ghostwriting project is to tell your unique story, share your insights, and give you a literary voice that feels authentic—and achieving those objectives requires your engagement and creative direction every step of the way. Ghostwriting may be a good fit for you if you have a great idea for a book but little to no writing experience, or not enough time to write a book on your own; have a wealth of ideas but don't know how to begin structuring them into a readable manuscript; or aspire to build your personal/professional brand.

I have a bachelor's degree in English from Harvard University and completed UC Berkeley's Professional Sequence in Editing. I live in Park City, Utah.
