As a freelancer and former in-house writer and editor at a Seattle-based editorial services provider, I've work on a wide variety of projects, from white papers to magazine articles, business books to memoirs, marketing copy to blog posts, children’s books to journals, novels to short stories. Past clients have included Weldon Owen, Nat Geo Kids, Amazon, Gender Intelligence Group, Deloitte, Seventeen, Pokemon, and Mountaineers Books, as well as individuals and indie publishers.
Before committing to the writing and editing world, I earned a master’s degree in existential phenomenological therapeutic psychology from Seattle University and a certification in Integrated Movement Therapy from the Samarya Center. I put my education to use in the world of mental health and social services, then went on to earn certificates in editing and writing from the University of Washington.
My work in social services pairs perfectly with my work in writing and editing—both vocations have allowed me to do what I love: help people clarify their thinking and express themselves effectively. If you need ghostwriting, copywriting, developmental editing, line editing, or book coaching, I'd love to hear from you.
