I specialise in structural editing and advice. I'm experienced with crime/thrillers, hist fic, spec fic and literary. Former publisher.
I began as a commissioning editor for the Echo imprint. I acquired, developed, and project-managed award-wining, globally published and bestselling novels, and also some works of nonfiction. In 2018, Echo became an imprint of Bonnier Books UK, most closely aligned with Zaffre, the UK's adult fiction publishing imprint, with sales and distribution in Australia through Allen and Unwin.
Promoted from commissioning editor to publisher, I continued to build Echo's list of adult fiction and narrative nonfiction: compelling stories, strong characters, memorable themes and predominantly Australian voices, with new opportunities to take these books and authors to the world stage.
Books I published in my five years at Echo/Bonnier Books UK include multi-award-winners, books sold into multiple territories, global international number one bestsellers, and a 'landmark' trans YA work.
