Overview

My name is Alicia, and I am a seasoned editor specializing in copy edits and proofreading. I am experienced with a variety of genres, but my true love is fiction. More recently I have focused on young adult and middle grade fiction, but I will happily take on any project that speaks to me.

My education includes a bachelor’s degree in communication with an emphasis in journalism, as well as my daily episode of Jeopardy!

I have spent the last eight years editing for traditional publishers (including Penguin Random House, Scholastic, and Candlewick Press), indie publishers, and many self-publishing authors. At the end of the day, my goal is to help every author produce the best manuscript possible, no matter which publishing route they take.
