Alexandra Luong – Designer

I am a Vietnamese-American freelance artist from San José, California. I am also an unapologetic lover of avocado toast (and food in general).

I am currently available for Cover Illustration work. I am flexible and can produce illustrations in painterly or linework-heavy, graphical styles to best fit the subject matter I am working with. My work is bold, colorful, and emphasizes dynamic movement, shape language, and expression.

I have over 7 years of experience in illustration and design and have done work for various industries and clientele including: bespoke illustrations for weddings and events, food and fashion infographics, podcast art, and digital zines. I also have experience in public art as one of the contributing artists of the 100 Block Mural in downtown San José, as well as the Womanhood Project: Anonymous No More. I am a annual participant in the Lunar X Art Show, and a Hidden Histories of San José Japantown finalist.
