Overview
Hi, I'm Adam, an illustrator based in the UK.
Since 2015, I have freelanced for a variety of clients like Apple, Deloitte and Facebook.
My imagery has been characterised as clear, direct and playful. I aim to inform, amuse and fascinate audiences.
I have worked in the contexts of editorial, advertising, merchandise, publishing and corporate communication.
In the world of publishing, I have written and illustrated the following non-fiction books for Nobrow Press:
An Illustrated History of Filmmaking
An Illustrated History of UFOs
An Illustrated History of Ghosts
An Illustrated History of Urban Legends
Continuing my interest in cinema, I researched and illustrated title 'Hiding in Plain Sight'. Made in collaboration with the Hyde Park Picture House and arts shop Colours May Vary, the book documents 80 cinemas which stood, at one time or another, in Leeds.
Most recently, I prepared illustrations for 'What Do Astronauts Do?', non-fiction children's book published by Usborne.
