Overview

For more than three decades, I’ve brought stories and characters to life for publishers including Scholastic, Warner Bros., Disney Publishing, HarperCollins, and DC Comics.

My specialty is character-driven storytelling. I focus on personality, emotion, humor, and acting — the elements that make characters feel alive and connect with readers. I’m equally comfortable developing original characters and visual worlds from a manuscript or working with established licensed characters, where understanding their personality and staying true to their identity are essential.

I illustrate children’s books, picture books, comics and graphic novels, educational projects, and covers, working from the first character sketches and storytelling concepts through to final artwork. My goal is always the same: to create engaging illustrations that serve the story, communicate clearly, and give each character a memorable personality.
