Editor with 7 years of Big 5 experience specializing in women's fiction, YA, and contemporary. Avid reader here to help your stories shine!

Overview

Hi there! I'm a professional editor with seven and a half years of experience helping authors transform promising manuscripts into polished, publication-ready books.

I specialize in developmental editing, copy editing, and proofreading, with experience working with major publishing houses such as HarperCollins, She Reads Truth, and LifeWay, as well as independent and self-published authors. With a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of story structure, I help authors strengthen their manuscripts while preserving their unique voice.

I work across a variety of genres, including historical and contemporary romance, women’s fiction, and young adult fiction. Organized, deadline-driven, and highly collaborative, I take pride in delivering thoughtful feedback ahead of schedule and with genuine enthusiasm for every project.

My editing calendar is nearly full, with limited availability remaining for September 2026. I will reopen to new project requests on July 1, 2026, for the remaining September openings as well as October through December 2026 projects.

I’d love to help you take your manuscript from rough draft to a compelling, polished book that’s read to connect with readers.

Savannah was professional, very communicative, efficient and understanding. It was clear she read my manuscript thoroughly and carefully. Her report was brimming with great suggestions and examples of modifications it would be well to make. She was kind, first telling me what worked and thought...

I hired Savannah to do a developmental edit on my manuscript. The thought of finding someone to edit my work was intimidating, but Savannah came highly recommended, and it took only one conversation to know she would be the right person to collaborate with. As I write this review, I wish nothing ...

Savannah was so supportive and encouraging. That meant the world to me because when you self-publish, you're going out on a limb completely on your own. So to have a professional's feedback (and have it be supportive) is so valuable. Savannah was thorough in her feedback as to what worked and wha...

Savannah was amazing, super friendly, and had a positive attitude! She was readily available to answer questions, and she completed the work when she said she would. She gave weekly updates as to where she was in the process. I will definitely be using her services again!

Oh my gosh, where to begin! This is the second edit Savannah has completed for me. Same book but different type of edit. And, again, she was amazing! She answered any questions I had and made the process so easy. I hope to work with her again in the near future on other books!!
