I had my first day at school today, it was okay I think I might have made a new friend? she's really nice and funny, she reminds me of you. Mum and dad miss you, I do too. I think we might be getting a cat, I wanted a dog but Omma thinks its too dangerous and it might hurt Mina. Sorry mums just called me for dinner, but come back soon, I miss you.

Happy first month in the states! is it great over there? it looks great. omma shows me photos all the time, she still brags about you to her walking friends. i kind of found out i like this boy in my class, hes super sweet and very handsome. honestly i think even you would be jealous of his looks, and thats saying alot. come home soooon x

Dear Alex,

Guess what? Omma actually got me a dog! his names Al (named after you), I think you would like him, he's not very jumpy because he's old. I think that's the only reason mum actually let me get him, I'm happy anyways though. I'm super close with An-na now (the friend I was telling you about before). I heard its spring in the states now, I wonder if its any different to in Korea? Come back home soon, we all miss you.

I'm loving my new school, i might have a boyfriend, but you cant tell omma, she would literally kill me. Being 15 is great, people dont expect too much from me and i kind of love it. responsibilities must suck. guess thats what you get being 22 and all, let me know how the states are going, it looks so fun over there, ill visit you one day i promise. but come back home first, mum and dad miss you, mina too.

Hows work going? I heard you got a promotion, mr rich over here. I'm taking Spanish lessons so one day we can go there like we always talked about. I made a whole pinterest board of photos i want to take, and yes you are required to look through every single one. as an older brother thats expected. Oh and guess who got a 89% on their math test? Me! that may not be that great compared to what you got when you were my age but i've never been good at math so its an acheivement for me. anyways i miss you alot please come home soon okay?

School is honestly getting exhausting, i have no idea how you did this at my age, and you studied at home aswell, crazy. honestly if i got the grades you got maybe omma would buy me a phone for Christmas instead? fingers crossed. you better be crossing your fingers when you step off that plane.
