Overview
After a series of interesting events, I found myself editing for a university's publications department. And that eventually led me into the world of book publishing. Now, with over a decade of experience, I look back with joy at the manuscripts I had the honor of polishing, including those for Penguin Random House (WaterBrook & Multnomah imprints), Kensington Publishing, Simon & Schuster, and several small publishers.
Helping writers get closer to a book in hand makes my heart happy, as I love watching people go after their dreams. So, if you have a manuscript ready for the editing stage, I can assist either with copyediting or proofreading. While proofreading catches the typos and is done after the copyediting stage, copyediting is the initial edit and ensures clarity, for example, and pinpoints inconsistencies.
I hope the following quote inspires you—and may you fulfill every dream God placed inside your heart!
“The day my first book was published, I cried tears of gratitude. It felt like God had taken my dreams and made them real, to touch hearts for Him.”
