Hi there! I am Maira with 4 years of experience in Children's Book Illustration And I love turning stories into magical visual journeys. With a background in digital illustration, I specialize in crafting expressive characters, playful scenes, and vibrant worlds that capture the imagination of young readers. The birth of my first born inspired me to start illustrating books for children!

Whether your story is whimsical and fun, heartfelt and emotional, or educational and inspiring, I bring it to life with artwork that feels authentic and engaging. 🧡

I have originally majored in Microbiology discipline for my Bachelors degree but I always wanted to pursue Art as a career and I think life comes full circle; although I'm not directly working in the science field but many of my illustrated books are on the topics related to it, in one way or another like Sleep Apnea, food sensitivities in kids and topics on Autistic Spectrum :)

I’ve had the privilege of working with authors and publishers from around the world inlcuding US, UK, Australia and beyond, helping them transform their manuscripts into picture books that children can’t wait to read and parents enjoy sharing. My process is collaborative and detail-oriented.

I listen carefully to your vision, provide creative input when needed, and make sure each illustration aligns beautifully with your story. Clear communication, punctuality, and dedication to quality are at the heart of every project I take on.

For me, illustration isn’t just about drawing, it’s about storytelling. I believe pictures should enhance the narrative, spark curiosity, and create memorable experiences for young readers. That’s why I approach every project with both artistic passion and a strong commitment to excellence. I've Illustrated 5 published Books; "BEFORE THE BRAVE BITE" and "A TALE ABOUT MY BROTHER'S TAIL" are a couple of names among them.
