Hello! Thanks for stopping by my Reedsy profile. As a digital children's book illustrator I'm passionate about nature, science and the environment. Combining my degrees in fine arts and education along with my background in animation and graphic design, I research and illustrate narrative nonfiction picture books as well as whimsical fiction, board books, and chapter books. My portfolio reflects my style of visual storytelling.

I love the collaboration process, welcoming revisions and edits, always striving to create a book that will encourage lifelong readers. It's important to me to give my clients an enjoyable experience during our book creating process. I look forward to working together!

My art studio is in the foothills northwest of Fort Collins with a panoramic view of the peaks of Rocky Mountain National Park. I live with my husband, Andy, a fine artist urban sketcher and volunteer firefighter. Also there's Biscuit, my studio pet, an energetic golden doodle. She was recently showcased in Where Women Work Magazine's Pet Tales. I enjoy travel, hiking, and gardening, especially with native, drought-tolerant plants that encourage pollinators.
