In addition her last book The Legend of Jet the Gerbil, won the 2021 Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards Bronze Medal : Animal/Pets-Fiction , the 2022 IBPA Benjamin Franklin Awards Gold for Best New Voice and Children’s/Young Adult and the 2022 MIPA Midwest Book Award Gold Medal for "Best Illustration".
