Overview
I am a professional ghostwriter who specialises in crafting narrative-led memoirs for both high-profile and private clients.
With a background in archive television research and drawing on years of experience conducting in-depth interviews, I am a friendly, respectful interviewer and attentive listener.
My ghostwriting credits include actor Larry Dann's acclaimed 80,000 word autobiography "Oh, What A Lovely Memoir", former Flying Squad detective Barry Appleton's 96,000 word True Crime memoir "Twentieth Century Cop" (published in May 2026 by Pen and Sword Books) and The Repair Shop star Mark Stuckey's forthcoming autobiography "Bright Spark" (published by Mirror Books in September 2026) .
I am also the author of three published TV tie-in books: the bestselling "All Memories Great & Small", endorsed by the James Herriot estate, and two "Witness Statements: Making The Bill" guidebooks. These books feature the ghostwritten memories of 150 contributors who worked on both classic TV dramas.
As a television researcher for over 100 episodes of ITV’s This Morning, I wrote scrupulous research briefs and interviewed contributors from all walks of life, often concerning sensitive or traumatic subjects. I have also interviewed hundreds of movie stars and celebrities on the red carpet specials or for Blu-ray and DVD special features.
Since 2025, I have also written features for "Best of British Magazine", including interviewing surviving cast and crew for classic TV dramas "Storyboard" and "The Gentle Touch", shaping their memories into compelling 1800-word articles.
I am a strong storyteller and adept at capturing the voices of my subjects authentically. Whether you are a celebrity or a private individual, I would love to help you tell your story.
