Overview
With a decade of experience in publishing, I've worked on a wide range of projects at several major publishing houses.
I specialise in children's non-fiction, having written and edited dozens of titles for Bonnier Books, Flying Eye, Little Gestalten, Farshore and many others, but I also have experience editing fiction (adult, YA and children), illustrated and long-form non-fiction, and licensed books.
In my time as a writer and editor, I've worked on an enormous range of things, from horror fiction to D&D books to picture books about animals. I've also worked with licensors like Disney, Marvel, DC, Netflix, Bear Grylls and Wizards of the Coast – so I'm extremely flexible and, by this point, almost nothing can surprise me!
Currently, I offer developmental edits, copyediting, fact-checking and proofreading) services. I also provide sensitivity reads and DEI checks (particularly regarding LGBTQ+ topics).
With experience in-house and as a freelancer, I want to demystify and guide you through the process of creating a book. I'll always be friendly and open with you (I swear, I'm a delight), but will also be extremely honest and to-the-point.
Beyond publishing, I'm an academic, specialising in psychology, so can offer fact checks, developmental edits and coaching on non-fiction books around psychology, lifestyle, mental health and wellbeing.
I love a challenge, and have a very flexible working style, so feel free to reach out to me with whatever you need, and we can work out a plan that works for both of us.
