On top of that, I've worked as a publishing director and creative director for one of the country's fastest growing publishers. The girl sees kings and revolutions, empires and democracies, war... read more

Annmarie Kelly-Harbaugh, Ken Harbaugh

Before our three kids, we had been decent people. Interesting even. One of us had taught Shakespeare to gang members while the other flew reconnaissance missions off North Korea. But our own children had proven our biggest challenge. We were passionate and service-driven folks, except we were not demonstrating this to our kids. I'm over the moon happy with the interior book design David created for my memoir The Home for Friendless Children. David captured the haunting, a little bit quirky, and yet hopeful feeling of the story perfectly! Seriously, I'm absolutely thrilled with his work. Perfection. Thank you so much David!

For example, when the illustration phase took 2 months longer than expected, he shifted his busy schedule to accommodate that change. He was very r...

David is great. He designed covers and packaging for our project (on a tight timeline as well). He created beautiful and functional designs and communicated clearly throughout the entire process. Our project is better because of David.

I don't want to write this review. Because if you know how great David is, you'll hire him. And you hire him, he'll get so busy he won't have time to do my next book. But while I'd like to be selfish and keep him all to myself, that wouldn't be fair. So in fairness, let me just day that David is an extraordinarily talented book designer and a man of his word. In the gig economy, it's challengin...
