Overview
My editorial background is diverse and robust, with years working in-house at a trade publisher, experience at a literary agency, and an MFA in fiction. An editor for authors, I've worked on nearly four hundred titles, including dozens of works by best-selling and award-winning authors, and I approach each new project with calm, precision, and good humor. I bring my background in writing and publishing to each new editorial project, and I'm dedicated to helping authors, veteran and beginner alike, polish their manuscripts to publishing-house quality.
I appeared on PBS NewsHour as a commentator on the future of the fantasy genre in a segment about the Game of Thrones phenomenon. Also, check out some quick advice from me and other editors on writing fantasy: https://blog.reedsy.com/writing-fantasy/
I am currently accepting new clients for copy editing or proofreading.
