Hey! I'm Maria, a freelance illustrator and graphic designer based in Barcelona. I love to illustrate colourful and playful scenes with several natural elements and funny lettering pieces. I enjoy bringing to life all different stories and characters, but I'm focused more on children's and young adult audiences.
I take inspiration from my travels (which I love), from listening to music, watching movies or simply walking around the city and discovering new shapes and colour combinations. My creative process starts sketching a lot on paper or, if I'm not in my studio, on my Ipad, and exploring different solutions for every project. After finding the best option, I draw it digitally, add colour, textures and finish it in Photoshop.
