Hello, I’m Madli - nature lover, travel enthusiast and most of all passionate Illustrator with over 15 years of drawing experience. I’m specialised in book cover art and I enjoy working directly with self-publishing authors to help translate written stories into visually eye-catching book covers.

Here’s a little insight on HOW IT WORKS

1. Concept Development – I like to start with one-on-one consultation call to learn more about your book, the storyline, main characters etc. During the call we will discuss the ideas for the cover illustration and develop a concept that would represent your story the best.

2. Concept Sketch – After our call I will generate a written overview of the cover concept and start the sketching process. I will create a black & white line sketch to show the general composition. x2 rounds of revisions are included, to reach the final sketch.

​3. Final Illustration – I will create a fully painted illustration based on the sketch. x2 rounds of revisions are included, to reach the final illustration.

4. Cover Design & Formatting – After the illustration is completed I will design the full book cover (front-spine-back). I will propose multiple fonts and we can go through multiple revisions to reach the final book cover design.

MAIN SERVICE

HAND-PAINTED COVER ILLUSTRATION - The final price depends on the subject matter, level of detail and complexity of the illustration. So it ranges from 1100-1500 USD*

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Once the Cover Illustration has been completed you can request to have your book cover fully designed & formatted. The additional packages are following:

1) EBOOK COVER DESIGN & one 3D mock-up image for marketing = 100 USD

2) EBOOK + PAPERBACK COVER DESIGN & three 3D mock-up images for marketing = 390 USD

3) EBOOK + PAPERBACK + HARD COVER DESIGN & three 3D mock-up images for marketing = 490 USD

*Please note that the Cover Illustration price includes a standard book cover licence. Maintaining exclusive copyright is possible upon request.
