Hello, I’m Madli, a nature lover, travel enthusiast, and most of all, a passionate illustrator with over 10 years of industry experience. For the past five years, I’ve specialised in book cover art, working closely with self-publishing authors to transform their written stories into visually eye-catching book covers.

I’m very result driven and love to pay attention to details! It’s always very important to me do deliver my best work and not settle with anything less. My designs feature unique, digitally hand-painted artwork created specifically for your book. My style is realistic and detailed, with a strong focus on characters, atmosphere, and conveying the right mood and emotion.

I do not use any AI or photo-manipulation in my work, ensuring your cover is entirely original and thoughtfully crafted to stand out in a competitive market.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Concept Development – I like to start with one-on-one consultation call to learn more about your book, the storyline, main characters etc. During the call we will discuss the ideas for the cover illustration and develop a concept that would represent your story the best.

2. Concept Sketch – After our call I will generate a written overview of the cover concept and start the sketching process. I will create a black & white line sketch to show the general composition. x2 rounds of revisions are included, to reach the final sketch.

​3. Final Illustration – I will create a fully painted illustration based on the sketch. x2 rounds of revisions are included, to reach the final illustration.

4. Cover Design & Formatting – After the illustration is completed I will design the full book cover (front-spine-back). I will propose multiple fonts and we can go through multiple revisions to reach the final book cover design.
